CD Printers
Suppose you want to duplicate a CD or DVD to give them out to your family and friends, how do you go about labeling them nicely? Of course you can use your regular printer to produce your CD or DVD labels, but you can do better by using CD printers.
CD duplication enthusiasts might have heard or even used CD printers in labeling their CD output. CD printers are categorised into three: silkscreen, inkjet, and thermal. Silk screen CD printers use stencils or templates in producing a sharp-edged image. The inkjet CD printers use the inkjet technology and produce quality prints at low cost. However, printouts of inkjet CD printers are prone to water damage. Innovations in inkjet CD printers have made inkjet CD printers output water resistant. Thermal CD printers use thermal technology to produce a durable and glossy prints. Thermal CD printers are more expensive than inkjet CD printers.
When choosing CD printers, you have to consider two things: the cost and the convenience.
COST
Having your own CD printers is only practical if you're duplicating CDs at regular intervals but not in big bulks. If the CDs you're going to produce is just in small volume, you can make do with your ordinary printer. But if you have to produce a big volume of CDs, it's more cost effective to have them outsourced to silkscreen CD printers.
CONVENIENCE
Of course, it's always great to have your own CD printers whenever you need to duplicate CDs. Having your own CD printers ensure the quality of your CD label outputs since you can continuously manipulate the image, colours, and texts of the CD labels until you're satisfied with them.
